But when you consider the title’s estimated lifetime sales of more than 12 million copies, it actually represents less than 10 percent of the player base.

This data offers a rare look at how the community is responding to the game’s evolving structure, particularly its expedition system. The reset feature, designed to refresh progression and encourage renewed playthroughs, seems to have only a modest pull on most players. Embark’s next moves will likely need to focus on making expeditions more compelling to boost participation and keep momentum going.
