If you recently tried to pre-order the Marathon reboot on Steam and noticed Destiny 2 suddenly starting to install itself, you’re not alone. It turns out Bungie had a bit of a mix-up where pre-purchasing the new Marathon game triggered Destiny 2 to reappear on your PC without warning. Fortunately, that odd bug has now been sorted out, so fans can pre-order without worrying about Destiny 2 sneaking back onto their hard drives. It’s a funny slip-up for a studio juggling both franchises, but at least it didn’t stick around long.
